NORA’s 2009 Conference Fishing Expedition will be held on Friday, October 30th. The expedition will feature a 4-hour unique fishing experience on a 70-foot private charter
boat named “Another Reward”. The boat features a large air conditioned salon with 8
dinettes, an upper viewing deck and full walk-around capabilities.
Leaving out of Miami Beach Marina, this NORA event offers an exciting afternoon of fishing in Miami where
the waters are clear, the air is warm, and the fish always bite.
The area for the NORA expedition is covered by over 70 artificial reefs ranging from 250 foot ships to army
tanks. This area has landed blue marlin to 450 lbs., white marlin to 105, yellowfin Tuna to 100, hundreds of
sailfish (154 last year), dolphin, kingfish, amberjack, snapper, and grouper.
Vertex Energy is sponsoring the NORA Fishing Expedition and will provide all the food and beverage.
The 7th Annual NORA Fishing Expedition fee is only $105 per person and includes charter bus transportation
to and from the marina (about a 1/2 hour ride), a spot on the 70 foot private charter boat, fishing equipment
(rod, reel, bait, tackle) and the necessary licenses.
Boats will depart from the Ritz at 12:30 PM and will return by 6 PM. All participants will return in time to prepare
for the NORA Closing Party at the Ritz on Friday evening.
